rattling in the knee airbag please help

Default rattling in the knee airbag please help

hi my knee airbag is rattling its not really in there and i cant get it to stick. its pretty loose and bringing it to the dealer ship is not an option for me. any ideas?

What do you mean by rattling? Like the cover or the actual airbag behind the cover itself? If its just the cover, maybe some black electrical tape til you can get to a dealership. Just enough to hold the cover still yet still allow it to deploy unaltered if you get into an accident *knock on wood that you don't*

as in it is loose and i guess not clamping to what ever it needs to clamp to so when i hit a bump or so it rattles. i see metal hooks on the top part.

I was asking is it the cover or the actual airbag itself? Why is a dealership not an option for you?

its the cover i soppose . plastic that matches the dash color. but its like not only a cover but the whole bag as 1 piece. but i cant go to dealership cuz im not underwarranty anymore.

aren't the airbags covered under an extended warranty? Check your warranty booklet again.
