Default Suspension mod help to haul wheelchair on back of xa

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...a/DCP_0150.jpg

I have a class 2 hitch and am looking to buy a wheelchair carrier like this one

http://www.discountramps.com/mobilit...er_carrier.htm the wheelchair I want to carry is electric and weights 185lbs. I do not want the rear sagging like most cars that has one, nor have the front end high in the air. I was thinking about getting an inch or 2 lower springs for the front and leave the stock ones in the rear to allow the car to sit level or maybe an air suspension if offered for the rear to firm it up to allow the car to sit and ride level.

Think this may work? Do I need shorter shocks for the shorter springs? Do they make air bag kits to firm up the rear?

Basically I have MS and was in a chair for 9 years. I have been doing well for 3 years, but want to be ready or able to do a race or car event without worry about walking all day and just take the wheelchair.

Thanks

The most simple an easy solution I can give you is to put airshocks in the rear. They allow u to carry more weight and to keep ur ride level when u have a load in the rear. Basically it's like having loadlevelers like on the older mid 80s gm cars. Basic airshocks u just have to run a line to fill em with air to level the car like filling a bicycle tire. Recently I've seen in the JCWhitney cataloge that they now have a small aircompressor and tank with a guage so u can fill up the shocks or release the air from them from inside the car.

U can also airbag the whole suspension and raise and lower the suspension at will. I wouldn't recommend goin with different size springs, it's not an old muscle car lol. Plus I don't think the car would handle to well with the back being up in the air like that.

jcwhitney.com item ZX879888N

Both look interesting if they will fit. Any leads on air system?
