I am looking at aftermarket seats right now. I don't like the seats in the xB. I think they are too high, and are uncomfortable. I found some that are pretty cheap, does cheap=sucky? I am looking at around $400 or less for a set.
Check these out....

They are only $300, with the monitors installed.

cheap doesn't absolutely mean sucky, but the material and quality won't be as good as other seats. if you have a 400 range, i would go with tenzo seats or corbeau.

I have been seeing red and black TRD racing style seats on ebay for $400 a pair they look nice and I think the actual TRD seats are worth the extra $100

If I have money when I'm done with my system, I'd want Sparco Torinos, but I don't drive a Ferrari. They are of the best seats out there, but in a Scion I'd probably get Tenzo's or Corbeau A4's, but I've seen some non-logoed R1 seats on Ebay for about 600 a pair that look pretty sweet with a kind of stealh look. A Sparco decal on top and you've got some expensive seats!!

It looks like they're vinyl from the picture. Vinyl seats are the devil imho. If your xB is your daily driver, make sure the seat is comfortable, try some out first before you dump that kind of money on something that you may end up hating.

Where does one go to try out seats?

go to a local tuner shop. they should have some laying around. to bad you don't live in california because there is a store called super autobacs that has about 12 seats sitting out to sit in. i liked the tenzo seats myself.
