Is it just me or does the 17"s bounce and slides more?

If I could use 16"s and make em wider than the OE 17 width, could I get a more refined ride??? I also heard that 16"s get better fuel eco...

Can someone show me a pic of a tC with 16" alloys?

you can get thicker sidewall tires. i ran 215/50/17 stock Yokohama passenger car tires from a Toyota Matrix, and the ride was much softer and cushy. I didnt like it because it was too soft and I didnt feel the road as much, but others would consider it more "comfortable" and "refined" than the stock 215/45/17 performance tires.

I'm just getting very light 16"s and would like to see how they look with 225s and proportioned side walls...
