Default Cost of mounting four tires?

I'm just curious for anyone with experience to chime in as to how much I should expect to pay like Discount Tire or some place similar to dismount my Potenza's off of my stock alloy wheels and put them on some new 17's and back on the car?

I heard everything from $50 to $100, really don't want to spend $100. This is including balancing and new stems.

its usually 15-20 dollars per wheel.

so expect to pay 60-80-100.

$41.00 at Wal-Mart: 4 valves, 4 mounts and 4 one-time balance (not lifetime).

[Let the Wal-Mart bashing begin.]

Arg. I really want to get the peace of mind knowing that at a tireshop will replace a damaged wheel if they do it, but I know tech's at the Toyota dealership I work at that will do it for $20, but they ain't buying me a new one if they chip or scratch mine.

Guess i'll be spending some extra green.

Walmart does it for $41? Will they cover my wheels if they are damaged?

Yes, just like any other garage, Wal-Mart will pay for any damages to your car that are their fault. Like scratching your rim on a rim-clamp machine while dismounting a tire.

I <3 you.

I completely forgot about WalMart as where I come from (Westport, MA) we didn't have a WalMart auto center.

I just ordered the Flik Arctics from Edge for $80/peice, they will be here probably Monday and i'll update this with how it went.

Thanks for the quick replys guys. Scionlife comes through once again.

It's like $52 at Discount/America's Tires. That includes valves, lifetime balancing and rotations.

You're gonna love the Artics! I have them in Anthracite, but in 18s. Still got a killer $$$ on them through edgeracing.com. Congrats!

Thanks... I got an auto (plan on boosting) and didn't want to lose what little I have now for dead stop takeoffs. haha

So I went with the 17's. Edgeracing is awesome. Been refering them to a few friends who were floored at how much the wheels were (virtualarsen is one, he's on the boards). I was just browsing one night for some new wheels cheap and couldn't believe my eyes. Plus when it comes time for new tires, they are right there with decent ones for $70/peice.
