Sorry, I feel like I remembered seeing this somewhere, but couldn't track it down.
Do we know the price for vehicle stability control yet?
...waiting not-so-patiently to build my xD

Allocate about $650 for it.
I'm personally on the fence about it. On one side it would be nice to have since I did have an incident in a FWD car in the mountains in the rain, but on the other side my Z does not have any driving aids besides ABS and more than twice the HP of xD + extra 500lbs of metal and I was fine getting it around dirt road in the snow in the same g-damn mountains.
Probably will skip on it, unless my only choice would be to wait extra month or take the VSC...
Edit: just remember to take it easy with engine braking in a FWD ;)

it probably would be skippable... I never feel like I need it in my xA.
Will this do anything for insurance costs (like ABS does)?

It should (especially on a car like Z), but they never asked me if I had it on the Z or even what trim Z I had. Go figure.

they know by the VIN.
$650 is a very reasonable estimate.
keep in mind that only about 5-8% will be shipping from Japan with the ESC. At least in my region, maybe the NE will get a larger portion.

True.
I think SET got all of the friggin automatics, though, so for me getting an manual with the stability control will be a big surprise.
