Default Why didn't scion put one stock...

Ok when I first got my scion almost 2 years ago now it didn't come with a cabin filter. After reading on here I (shortly after buying my Xb) I made one using a House filter. Now advance to the prestent day when my girlfriend started complaing about how stuffy and how much her allergrys always acted up in the scion. So I check it today and HOLY CRAP that thing was dirty. So if you have them check them if you haven't added one nows the time.

Just so you know, the filter should be replaced every 15K miles, or sooner if you are in a dustier climate...
Some people don't realize how important an in-cabin filter is... :D

I have noticed a greatly reduced amount of dash dust since I added the filter. I use the Purolator ones, They are only like 7 bucks.

I replace that thing every month. I use the cheap, cut-to-size house filters, but they work great.

I wouldn't want to breath any of the stuff I've trapped in there.

How much money does it cost to make one. I buy my for $8.00 at the local parts store which I think is very cheap.

Advanced Auto has them but I think they are listed under Echo in the book. Maybe the new book has a listing for the xB by now tho??
