Noise getting off lower gears
I just recently started hearing some noise which seem to be coming from the engine bay or front suspension. It happens when I get off first gear from a complete stop, usually when the road is rough. So I've tried driving on pavement that are smoother but the noise is still there, just not as loud. Was wondering if anyone know anything about it and can give me some advice on what to do.
I think you might have to be more specific... like is it a squeak or a rattle or something else? A clunking?
What have you changed on the front suspension? Anything recently?
More info from you means more help from everyone else...

Ah... ya, engine movement will sometimes shake that around. I bet the lower mount broke too?
If it's moving around a lot, you should look into the doc's fender panel:

If it is a K&N, I give it a 90% chance it broke the bracket off the motor mount (you will have to really look to see it). If it is an Injen I say it is a 30% chance given the complaints I have heard. You would think these "good" aftermarket companies would hire someone with two eyes and a brain to design thier mounting
And people wonder why I am so skeptical of most of the aftermarket companies these days.....
But the fender panel from dociso is a good idea if you want to keep the CAI installed.
