Its not a matter of being smug or an a$$hole...I tried the search and came back with 12 topics. The reason why the search sucks is because:

1- Too many posts asking the same thing = too much reading to find your answer

2 - People dont understand how to search properly.

Try searching again and search the following:
LED "license plate"

Lexus charges way too much for the LEDs. when i called for a price, they wanted $98 per LED for the license plates. i picked up a pair off ebaymotors for like $10- and the color is the exact same. ck here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-B...QQcmdZViewItem

i got mine from pepboys for about 8.99 if i remember correctly. they have a bunch of colors too. the only thing i had a problem with is the plastic wedge on the led's was too wide to fit into the socket of the car so i just took a razor blade and shaved off a little bit of the plastic until it fit.

I hate to get involved with the whole "search first thing" but if you search for led license plate, you get a couple of threads for the tC... nothing pertinent for the xB. In order to get a decent search out of this site, it's important to narrow the forums first.

If you were to do that search in xB exterior, you don't get anything...

I guess my point is; why waste your time telling people to search? Just ignore the thread instead of being a dick. It's just one of those unnecessary annoyances.

I personally just have 168 bulbs in super white it works for me, I don't need it to be super bright.
