Especially after seeing the JDM ist. The reader comments were actually more interesting than the review. How about comparing apples to apples? '06 EPA standards and '08 EPA standards are vastly different. Old EPA 31/38 - new EPA 27/34. Red_xD 08-31-2007, 10:07 PM I dunno...there wasn't a whole lotta "truth" in that "truth about cars" article... :eyebrow: The xD's engine does not come from the current Corolla/Matrix...they're totally different engines...displacement is about the same and hp is similar, but that's it...and I agree with Zoltiz when they did not do an apples to apples comparison when talking about MPG...
