Engine reving question

Default Engine reving question

Hi quick question when i start my xb the engine revs to about 2000rpm's then drops back down is this normal? also my xb feels like its going to the left when i straighten the steering whell anyone else notice this or am i just going crazy im so used to having alot of problems with my old car i cant seem to think i have no problems with this one.

Most cars do rev a little higher right at startup and then lower down. If you feel the pull is bad enough take it to the dealer and have them check the alignment. You may of hit a hole or something and knocked it out.

Ya the higher revs at start up is the car in open loop warming up the motor, its normal.

As far as the pulling to the side, as blodhoundfan says, if its bad enough, take it to the dealer.
