i was look into buying tc when i get back from iraq in 2008 can anyone tell me some performance and other advantages of owning a tc. also some disadvantages and how is perform aganist other stock cars like a neon. anything would be helpful thank you.

 

Mods need ta move your topic to the tc forums, but I respect soldiers so I'm not going to try and give you greif about that.

Pros: Can be built into anything, VIP, Tuner, Auto-x. Its a very versatile little car. Very spatious. Excellent assortment of people who will answer questions on SL. Lots of dealer options to help you keep your warranty. Lots of aftermarket parts to help you void your warranty. You get a lot for the price.

Cons: There are a few known issues with the tC, the hatch and sunroof could rattle after 10k miles or something. Search around on here for the common issues. Theres really nothing major where people tend to have their tranny go out or anything. Just little squeaks.

Overall a very good purchase I would say. Stock its the...5th...? I think? fastest car under $20,000.
