Parting out the FothBox...closing a chapter w/ pics -no 56k
Well... after much debate its time to part out the FothBox. I'm getting ready to sell my xB, but highly doubt I can sell it as a whole right now, so I am putting it back...mostly to stock. I've posted a couple of things up in the Classifieds, but wanted to extend a special invitation to the local guys and gals that know my car, if there anything you've seen on it that you really really want shoot me a message and I'll see if we can work something out. I'm happy to help with labor to swap parts over.
My main reason for returning the car to stock is to sell it... I am currently in need of a tow rig for my "new" project, which some of you are familiar with (http://www.mospeed.com/yaris) needless to say I'm not going far, just changing up the pace of things.
Now for some random reminiscing... and pictures...
the Foth Box currently has over 94,000 miles on it, it's never done me wrong...
It still has all its original glass, but at 89,800 miles the windshield finally started to crack...it was bound to happen eventually.

Though I don’t intend to depart from this community, I do feel it appropriate to say with the warmest sincerity thank you. Thank you to all the local people who are here, who have come, and even those who have gone. Thank you to all the people in Nor Cal, So Cal, AZ, NM, PDX, and Las Vegas who were kind enough to grace me with your hospitality in my travels, it’s the interactions and the experiences that I had while on the road that made owning my Scion more than just a car… but an experience. An experience worth sharing.

Good luck with the sale Dave, was good to talk to you at Exposed, good luck with the Yaris, looks great, can't wait to see it up close and personal.
Now, about your stereo stuff, hmmm, wish I had the cash, lol.

dave, your scion will always have a special place in my heart, got me started and all and was an inspiration. Bump for a hell of a guy, with great insight, and vision and good luck with the yaris!
it'd be easy to rebuild, just takes some 1x1/2" square tube, 1x1" square tube, a few measurements, some all thread, some washers, nuts, paint, a welder, chop saw, angle stock... only took us a couple hours to fab it up.
