Default Double DIN Unit -- Screen is a bit screwed up..Help

Hey guys...ok heres the story... I bought a Panasonic Double DIN 6.5" indash TV/DVD/CD headunit. So I hook the sucker up and to my dismay the screen on the left side is fuzzy.
There is a solid line that shakes on the left side (looks like a line of dead pixels almost) And some of the words and writing on the left side are fuzzy. Now while in DVD full aspect mode, you cant even tell that there is anything wrong with it. So here's the question..

1. Has anyone had this happen to them (any unit)? if yes what did you do?
2. How much did it cost to fix?
3. Any information you would like to add...

I have this sinking feeling I should just suck it up and deal with it, or it'll end up being cheaper or the same to just buy a new one.
For whoever is wondering, I bought it sight unseen and I was told about the line before hand. I only paid $180 for the unit (which works awesome).
So I am not mad, just might go crazy lol thanks in advance.

try sending it in to panasonic... they should replace it... it might cost you some money... but shouldnt be too bad...

i have seen a similar thing on a JVC unit.... it was kinda hazy on the right half of the screen... had it sent to JVC and it was all good... of course in that instance it had a warranty on the product...

most install shops wont/cant repair stuff like that... your better off sending it to the manufacturer... that way you know it gets fixed... and fixed right... usually... it shouldn't be any more than 100 dollars... more then likely it will be cheaper... but shouldn't be any higher than that
