Default Steering Wheel Controls not always lighting up after swap

I swapped my steering wheel controls along with my LED swap a few months ago and everything worked great. Recently only the steering wheel controls do not always light up. The controls work still even though they are not lit, making me think that everything is plugged in ok. Are the LEDs wired in parallel so that maybe one being loose is making them all not work?

Any other ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

I herd they were in a parallel connection because of how small the board is.

They are in series. Sounds like a cold joint on a solder connection that intermittently fails. One will cause them all to go out. I would just take them back out and go over all the solder joints again.
