Default [HELP!] I cant hear my music/radio/cd/ipod!

So today while I was driving home, the music suddenly stop playing. It was during traffic so I didnt notice it.

My cds do not work. My ipod doesnt work. The radio doesnt play either!

I made sure it wasnt on mute (duh, even thought I thought it was the whole time).
I made sure the volume was up! From 0-50 (number scale) nothing played.
I also played with the functions to see if anything will make it work.

Im currently running the stock head unit with the ipod connector. The only electrical mod I have done is replace the speakers with Alpine type -s. This was about 6-7 months ago.

Can anyone help me out?

How exactly will at look at the fuse? Is there a certain thing Im looking for?

By speaker/harness you're talking about, that doesn't mean all of them would die at the same time, right? Or is it something that happens commonly. Should I be looking for anything that might have been shorted?

i would check the fuse box first. I dont know if it has something about the audio. but check it anyways? I think other things die aswell if the fuse for the audio did blow? Not 100% sure tho.

is it the stock 6 dics cd player? i know they had alot of problems with them. if the radio turns on then its not a fuse issue in the fuse block. Take radioout and double check wires in back. after that if it doesnt work go to the dealer..

okay, so i checked out the fuses. None of them looked "blown"

( are they blown/poped/ when its out of socket or dark?) if so, then they were all okay. It still doesnt work :[

I'd say your OEM Radio has a cold solder joint somewhere on the circuit board - causing intermittent audio output. I'd have the dealer replace the unit.

everyone is ignoring the fact that the radio appears to be working fine, other than he cant hear sound for anything, and he just so happened to have installed different speakers. Occam's Razor, check the thing you changed.
