Just debating weather to get the RS3 lip on my RS1.0. Just thinking if it will look good. Tax return are coming soon.

the RS3 kit is ok, but i think it looks good only on the RS3. i think that you would have to get ride of your bottom grill too..

 

stick with your OEM lip kit.

 

oem or something else, personally wouldnt run the rs3

 

Not worth it. You are looking at well over 2 grand for the kit...unpainted.

 

Do it. I think that would look pretty sweet, and certainly different. The only consideration you might take, is you're throwing any value the RS name is holding out the window.

 

go to racingsolution.com. they have the lip kit on there for about 700 and another 120 for the grill kit i think.

 

i think its something cool to try, I'm doing it with mine, i got the bumpers already just waiting till early next year to paint them NB.

and from what i've seen i think the RS1 grills will fit in there... i THINK. but you could just run the complete set thats already on the RS3 bumper so theres that if they dont/

and no it wont be cheap! i got the bill to prove that

and IMO the racing solutions knockoff is horrible, last i looked they were using a real press release photo of an RS3 to hock the grill knockoff, thats just bad

 

It's a whole new front and rear bumper, hence why it is a body kit and not a lip kit.

It would be different, but if you do in fact go through with it, make sure you hang onto your stock front/rear bumpers for resale value/ect.

And definitely do not go through Racing Solutions. This would have to be something you get directly from the dealer.

no it is simply an add on lip kit, just the lip goes halfway up the bumper, i wonder if the RS3 has only a half painted bumper since it comes outta the factory with the lip kit, someone one take theirs off lol, i think it is tacky, cant put in VRD's fog lights only oem center ones, and no side skirts is a rip off, i think racing solution made their own sideskirt to go with it, the only thing i like is the upper grill

 

actually, to buy/replace, you get a whole new front and rear bumper w/kenstyle lip, grill inserts and all, primered.

underneath the lip kit is painted just like it would on a normal tC, it still even has the side covers snapped in there.

 

ya i was planing to buy from racingsolutionss i was going to keep my stock gfx.

 

the rs3 lip is ok the rs1 is better
