i know this question has been asked 1000 times but I'ma dummy lol! Anyways I have two Alpine Type R 1042 (4 ohm) and was wondering what box to get. Also wondering on speakers amps ect. I'm def a noob when it comes to audio and sounds like you guys have it on lock.. If theres a better place to post this question (another website) I'd be down i jus want the best sound from my set up. Prefab boxes kinda suck. Okay, they really suck. If you want the most output, hit up www.hexibase.com. The guy can build you a box that will be perfect for your car and your sub and amp combination.

I'd say maybe a 1000 watt RMS amp would be fine for those subs.
