hey guys i so far got 500 miles on my new ride, im still breaking it in, a friend of mine told me to drive it normal as if im not breaking in the car, just not to go over 4000rpm, just curious how u guys broke in ur rides, i wanna make sure im doing this correctly and not babying it too much, thanx guys, any input is welcome

Follow the owner's manual break-in recommendations (varying speed, no sudden starts or stops). It will pay-off in the long run.

try drag racing it as much as possible for the first 1000 miles!!!

How do you NOT go over 4000rpm's.

yes go over 4000 rpm push 7000 or more down shift at high speeds. do some brake stands. and dont change oil till 50,000 miles

i'll be honest..as soon as i got mine i drove the ____ out of it for the first 30 minutes...just dont abuse it take care of it and im sure you'll be fine...im not sure about the 4000rpm thing but do whatever you wanna do

I think the biggest thing is the whole "vary your speeds". Don't use cruise control on the hwy for like the first 500mi. Speed up & slow down... downshift (if you have a manual) etc. No worries.
