Help with interior light change...

Help with interior light change...
I was trying to change the front interior light..but i forgot that NOT to turn the button..so i did...now it left inside. and i just took it off from hardly pust the cover. Now i dunno how to put it back.. does anyone know what to do?? Is that ok to take the whole thing off?? Help me please....
