Default s/c messing up warrentte?s

ok so i sold my tc not to long ago it was running fine no problems at all....i've talked to the new owner b4 he baught the car and what not......ne ways....i had the nst 9.5lb boost pulley on it also i purchased the s/c from longo toyota and had the local toyota shop install it...besides the pulley is their anything that would void the warentee by means of me buying the supercharger from another dealer and haveing the local one put it on??

doesn't matter where you buy it, if it is brand new in box, it will be warrantied all the same, like most everybody here bought one from trdsparks, and had their dealership install it, and it joined their powertrain warranty.

however, if another shop installs it, rather then joinining your powertrain warranty, you only get a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty on parts alone, as in the supercharger unit alone, and not the engine, should the supercharger blow the motor.

also, don't forget you need to ahve your ecu reflashed, which your local shop won't have, unless you plan to just tune with emanage or something.

oh, and if you don't reflash, there is no warranty either.

yeah i talked to modern this afternoon they said they wasnt sure if they would warrenty with the pully on there... the reason being it wasnt getting enough oil. i told them they were full of ____

what happens if I buy a used supercharger will the dealer still honor the warranty if I have them install it or will they refuse to put it in? cuz I just got a quote from my dealer but didn't tell then that it was used
