if you have this radio
http://www.scion.com/#tCAccessories_...iumAudioSystem

you will have RCAs in the back

if you do not and you have this one
http://www.scion.com/#tCAccessories_soundSystems

or one similar to it youwill need a line out put converter or a new deck

btw the one in the first pic (permium radio) has sub
control.
If you go with a line out put converter you lose sub control with most

I would say shell out the extra cash and get a basic aftermarket deck. you wont regret it. The sound quality to me is horrible on the stock unit. It seems like it cuts a lot of low frequencies out.

i just need a good cd player, with great quality, nice features....that will give me a great sound for my stock speakers, and subs. i dont need a dvd player, anything that works with a mp3 player or a touch screen. it would be great if someone could give me a list of models, and i'll take a look at them. thanks

any info on the pros and cons of these models would be great also.

What's your price range. That is what really matters

i just installed my Alpine CDA-9885 and it sounds awesome. I got the ipod adapter with it and it works way better than the factory ipod radio.

The Pioneer radio that speddlysmitt is talking about is also another good one. I just installed one in my girlfriends truck.

I'd go with a basic Alpine. You get iPod control, RCA output, the nice basic features. Any good aftermarket radio will make you door speakers seem at least 10x better.

You can get ipod control with the pioneer with a $20 - 30 cable.
