I hit a bird on the highway yesterday and my passenger side (Left) headlamp lens shattered. Aside from replacing it with a stock headlamp; what alternative headlamps would you recommend I potentially replace the OEM units with?

I've seen LED units listed on eBay but have no idea as to their reliability and how powerful they are with respect to the stock units running Silvania Ultras?

Ideas?

 

don;t get anything from ebay...specially the ebay headlights... 9 out 10 are defected...The LEDs stop working and most of them get foggy

 

DAMN BIRDS!!!! one time a bird flew in to my moms car antenna and i thought it was the funniest thing. id be ____ed if one broke my headlight though. id stand out in my yard every day for the next month with a shotgun just nailing the crap out of them like DIE YOU BASTARDS!!!

ebay do need to be sealed, and the led's for the most part wont last. Anzo's seem to be somewhat better quality wise. I am going back to stock from these (ebay)


They look great at night, but the one has condensation, it wasent sealed before i put it in though.

The good news? I paid less then 200 for both, the body shop quoted me for 200 for one new oem....i figured these had halos which work and should stay working because of the led's but the corner led's went out.


Now i just want the stocks, to try n stay away from any rice and keep it clean so i gotta get rid of these when it stops snowing! (right now)

 

if you want some stock headlights, a buddy has a set for sale...he wants 150 or something plus shipping

Conicelli toyota is just around the corner and they have the BEST Prices.,.. I bought mine for 125$ for the driver side..

 

Conicelli? Really? No way i wont deal with them, every time i go there they are total dicks to me. I will take my business to ed at Peruzzi like 40 minutes away and well worth the drive..

yea...they are rude...but if you just need the parts.. they have the best price online and you can just pick it up..
