I just got my car back from a bodyshop and I notice that there is a screeching noise coming out of my rear right wheel. The noise occurs only when the car speed is 15-35mph. It is louder at lower speed than at higher speed. The body shop did take the rear right suspension apart so they must of not assembled it correctly. I did not have this problem until the body shop worked on my car.

I haven't inspect the suspension yet but any tips or advice would greatly help before I do.

i just bought my 05 tc about 4 days ago just started noticing when i back up it makes a whistling/ screeching sound. sounds like the same thing yours is doing lemme know when you find out whats wrong.

 

It seems like the dust shield is rubbing against the disc brake. I compared the distance between the disc brake and dust shield on both sides of my car and the screeching side is noticeably shorter.

Is this problem an easy fix or do I need to remove a lot of components?

 

I never had this problem, but maybe you could just bend it back, if not you could always make the body shop fix it.
