depends on if there are any clearance issues with the xa's engine compartment versus the xb's, which is a bit bigger, and has more hood clearance and such.

so look at some pictures of the kit, and the engine bays of the xb and xa and see where they might differ in areas that might need modifications to fit.

but if you want a great turbo kit that fits the xa, get the turbo toyotas kit.

why is everyone trying to push the turbo toyotas kit? who are they? where did they come from? how's theire rep compared to greddy, hks, and blitz? that kind of loot doesn't part well with me and buying reputable parts makes it easier to say bye-bye.

well, the blitz procharger seems to be nothing but junk with many people have problems with the supercharger breaking down on them. the greddy kit for the xa is alright, i think that is what blownxa had on his xa before it got totalled. as for HKS, i haven't read about any kits on the xa.

but listen, if you want to know about turbo toyotas, just ask todd, he is always posting pictures, and dyno's of his kit.

now, those turbo kits from big name companies like hks, greddy, turbonetics are nice and everything, but turbo kits from dedecated smaller companies like dezod and turbotoyotas are really neat because they take the time to research and develop a kit specifically for the car, and on top of that, they continue to refine them and post their improved results.

the bigger companies, make a kit, make sure it fits and doesn't immediately blow up the engine, and sell it.

I've got the Blitz and cannot say anything bad about it ( it is not installed ). BUT, it will not provide the numbers that todd's kit will provide. Look up JSosa, he just installed the TT kit on his xa and is in the 175 WHEEL hp range. The Blitz should put people in the 130-135 range, the greddy turbo 140-150 range, the power enterprises new version ( when it becomes available again ) should be 140-145, and todd's kit was claimed to be in the 150-155hp area, but everyone installing and tuning it kills that mark. I think that todd's kit was originally installed on an xa automatic and that is the reason for the 150-155 numbers.

well, my goal is to blow out those greddy numbers with a greddy turbo and intercooler. I bought a spare engine assembly. having it ported and polished. wiseco pistons and crower rods, fidanza flywheel, emanage ultimate, kaaz lsd, and one damn good tuner should make that possible. hopefully, this will get done in time for summer

that is very possible.... just remember that there are a few echos running around on 14-20 psi with and without built motors and they are all running the same motor as us and are in the 210-260hp range. AND I have not heard of even the first problem out of any of them.
