Default Alternator fun time. :(

So I ordered a 180amp alternator last week. It arrived a few days ago and I finally had time to install it. I noticed the stock xB2 alternator has a bit of a snout on the front. Someone told me that this was due in part of a clutch. :? I'm clueless about that. Kind of weird for an alternator to have a clutch... Anyway ,I finally had time to install it today. It took me a minute to figure out how to release tension off the belt, but a quick look at the tC page got it done! I get everything installed and get ready to put the belt on... The pulley on the alternator is too large. I called the manufacturer of the alternator and she's sending me out a smaller pulley. I thought about getting the NST pulley, but I'm not sure how it's going to effect the clutch. Granted the new alternator doesn't have a clutch, but still.

So quick question, has anyone installed teh NST alternator pulley?

If anyone wants pics I can post pics. Just for fun, ya know!

AND not tell anyone about it! I HAD to. 3000watts with a dedicated subwoofer amplifier won't power itself!! and the 3000watts is continuous and conservative...

Nope, I got my alt from www.maniacelectricmotors.com. Christian there has been super cool to me and has helped me out a lot. So that meant a lot.

And I'm getting rid of the Directed 2400D. It's getting repaired as we speak. If you know anyone that wants a huge amp, let me know!

I'm getting a Sundown SAZ-3000D. Such a sexy amp!!
