Default finally got my 3k hid for my fog lights, but wont turn on...

so i finally get my 3K kit for my fog lights, and i hook them up and they wont turn on. just to make sure the ballasts and bulbs were good, i hooked them up to my head lights and they worked fine, but for some reason when hooked up to the fog lights they wont turn on, i am thinking that maybe the voltage or amperage isn't enough on the fogs for what ever reason, the fogs work with halogens... i am going to test them with a muli meter tomorrow...

the hid's (some) take 20 or more amps at start up
another member just posted that he blew the fuse or relay when he installed his to the factory harness
looks like you may need a relay harness to get power straight from battery and still use stock switch circut

i can hear the relay working, but it isn't turning on, so i am sure it is a power issue, i am sure i need to run some new wire...

Are you running a wiring harness with a relay for the hid's?

I am running the same setup with mine and have no problems. Where did you get the kit from?

That's definitely a power issue... I would suggest you get a wiring harness to make the connection directly to the battery for a more stable power draw...

yeah, the fogs are wired and relayed directly to the battery... it could be an issue with the relay... i will find out today when i hook up the multi meter...
