How much gas in tank when corner balancing?

Default How much gas in tank when corner balancing?

when one does corner balancing on the car, how much gas should be in the tank?

i tried searching, but did not find an answer. i was assuming maybe around half a tank...?

I would leave in the amount that you intend to race with. I would balance and race with a .25 tank.

i say do it with a full tank of gas, under hard cornering, the gas can slosh around and you can experience fuel starvation. if your racing, it should always be on a full tank of gas.

the extra weight of the fuel would be less detrimental to your performance and handling than coming out of a corner, hitting the gas, and feeling the engine stall until the gas in the tank settles and fuel pump finially finds some gas.

yeah, Tc's have a horrible issue with fuel starving. Wasn't there a thread around here or from another forum that had a member show what he did to fix the problem?

Anyways, back to the OP's question I personally would do it with 5gallons. Thats how much I usually run in the car anyways.
