i parked my car by my place in in time square last night, i woke up to this ( no note, no nothing)

(PS - I KNOW SHE'S FILTHY AS HELL! =p )





the front bumper was hit so hard, that it caused the driver side fender to buckle and dent. plus the paint on top of the dent is cracked... =/







but that didnt stop me from taking a lotta pics ;-D














two bumper stickers i got in vegas. one on the left reads "dont drink and drive. you might hit a bump and spill your drink." and the other one reads "i dont suffer from insanity. i enjoy every minute of it." l0l








my laptop / navigation / music / movie setup. nothing like playing street fighter 2 in your car while waiting for people. :-D

 

Wow, man, sorry to see that. I'm about to start on long-Milwaukee-winter-damange repairs (i.e. replacing the front bumper spoiler because of ice damage) myself. I hate spending money just to return the car to its previous condition.

Nice monitor, by the way. I've never seen one that big in the dash!

thanks but it's not really installed in the dash. its a tablet laptop (touch screen) that i have mounted via the "oven" below the temp controls. if you click on the link in my sig, you can see how i set it up / mount it / etc.

thanks dude - naw, i definitely do NOT drive it like that 365. only on "nice days" - ie - no rain, no snow, etc. since taking the grill off leaves the engine compartment (and my horns) exposed, a lot of dirt/dust/leaves/crap gets in so i mainly drive it with the grill on - which fits over the horns perfectly. i bought a spare grill and wanted to cut a huge rectangle in it and cover it with mesh - so you can hear the horns better and not see them - but i haven't started that project yet. l0l. the spare grill is sitting in my closet collecting dust =X

i live in manhattan and these pics were actually taken around JFK airport in queens. they have tons of these huge warehouses / facilities and i just drove next to one and started shooting pics. l0l. some of the pics are next to an air train station - you can see the station in the background.


re the damage: yeah i was ____ed as hell but have come to live with the kind of crap that happens here in nyc. when i had like 1600 miles on it, some numbnut hit me on the side on a one way road! he was trying to pass me on the right (SINGLE LANE, BTW!!!) and he got out of the car and was mad at me!!!! l0l0l0l0l.

 

That's what happens when you dont share your roti and daal with people.

after my rear passenger side door was dented from the idiot who tried to pass on my right on a single lane road, it took me like 6 months to get it fixed. l0l0l0l0l. i like my cars undented but im not going to throw like $600 immediately at a dent the second it happens. i need taco bell $ too

i was ____ed when i saw the front bumper but when i saw the fender, that crap put me over the top. i was sooooooooo mad. =/ i'm just glad this happened to the box and not sunkist - my 2008 sunkist orange H2 SUT..... i'd kill someone if that happened... l0l0l0l.

aw man , sorry to hear, I parked in timesquare like in and around the blocks like where tgi fridays is and hadnt had a problem. That looks to be the doing of a cab or a certain individual that cannot speak english (dont mean to be mean lol) I know of a site that sells parts cheap -

i parked at the spot right before the "driveway" for a parking garage. and usually, in that driveway, those busses that come from jersey (with, like you said, drivers that dont speak english) and they let off passengers there. im thinking it was one of those guys. they dont care about anything and constantly drive like a$$holes / block people in while picking up / letting off passengers, etc. the way i was parked, there was one car behind me and no one in front of me, that's why this happened. if i was parked in between cars, this wouldn't have happened.

o well. just gotta save up for a bumper and fender now. i have taken off the bumper before and that was cake walk. i wonder how tough it is to take off the fender...
