Default Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood

Hey Guys! Im planning to get my seibon carbon fiber this week on my fm. I was wondering what happens if i dont install the hood pins. Would my hood actually fly out. i read it from one of the forum.

i think Seibon has one of the best fitting hoods IMO. I think many people have ran it without hood pins and nothing has happened. You might want to search...

yea. the company lsd motorsports is selling for 360 if i pick it up in norwalk.

there are selling VIS or Seibon

Its a company from ebay

Seibon is better?

Better safe than sorry. Ive seen too many broken windshields to not run pins. really scary when that happens going 80 on the freeway

I've had my Seibon CF hood without hood pins for over a year now with no problems.

Yeah hood pins are the way to go. I remember my friend was on the highway with his carbon fiber hood without pins and it just flipped open covering the windshield.

hood pins are like 30 bux dude... well worth the peace of mind.

i have a seibon hood, but in the end, theres always that one hood that flys up, better it not be yours rite?

Both. I keep a close eye on it when on the highway but it never even shakes or anything. I'm not saying that its not a risk but I really can't stand hood pins so I'll take the risk.
