Default 08 Tails what to do

i have an 08 tC..i recently custom tinted them, and they looked great, but i made a big mistake by putting my car ito a car wash that uses, a high power jet steam of water instead of a brush,,well it ended up stripping some parts of the paint on the tails...so now i need some advise re paint them and never go into an automatic car wash or get these altezza tails

here's what my my custom painted tails looked like

i would get the TYC's and let FLEA on here paint them for you. personally, i dont like either tails smoked or unsmoked but i would vote for the TYC's smoked.

wetsand your taillights with 2000 grit till they look dull then go over them with a buffer and some polishing compound.

Please don't buy those cheap tails. Yours can be fixed.

Oh i know they can be fixed, i just have to wet sand an re paint..and yeah those tails are cheap they are $100 on ebay..but i was just thinking that by getting these altezza tails i would avoid any future paint issues

You may be avoiding paint issues now, but you will most likely end up putting your stock tails back on after you find out they leak/don't work. Save your money and take the time to do your tails right.
