Last week i was involved in an accident, I was walking to the bus to go to work and i crossed 10 ave off 312 and all of a sudden i was strucken buy a yellow chevy cobalt, luckly i bounced off the side of the car but i still went flying, as i layed down for a few minutes i saw that the driver was a younger asian/japanese girl. She was so scared, the didnt get out of the car just rolled down the window and asked if i were ok ....i slowly get up didnt know how i was feeling at the moment because i was soo dizzy from being hit. So in an end nothing ended up happening with this case.......about a week later i started to feel a soreness in the back and arms.. but other than that atleast i am alive......Sucky Sucky week i have been having since then.

 

It happens a lot. Usually a person on a bike or walking gets hit by a car. At the time it just hurts a bit but nothing major. A day or so later they feels worse and need to go the hospital. Well if you had called the cops the person's car insurance would have to pay the medical bills. Hope you have insurance. Point of the story, alway get the other persons info no matter what.

That is crazy. Maybe you can hang out in the area and see if she drives buy around the same time. That sucks. You could have gotten some $ out of it too for pain and suffering.

always get names and call the cops. its jsut like a car accident. always get names, drivers license number, contact number, license plate number.

Did you get the plates at all? If so your insurance agent can track them down...

Also. I'm not an expert on insurance law in WA, but if you elected to have PIP (personal injury protection) on your auto insurance it should pay out for your medical bills for this even though you weren't in your car. At least, that's how it works here in Oregon.

 

^Yeah check into that I have heard the same.......the girl needed to call the police.......she is at fault for hit and run now.........for all anyone knows you hit your head and cognitive reasoning is damaged..........car>person body..........driver need to make good decision.......even if you get up and run away...........they need to report.......even if you are in the wrong they need to report...........AHHHHHHHHHH
