Default Wide wheels and offset

What's a solid wheel width and offset that will work without rubbing for an aggressive tire? I'm looking to run as wide as possible without rolling the fenders on my car. Stock is +45 correct?

Ok... In other words, what fits without rubbing? I've seen 245 tires and a +48 offset work on an 18x8.5, beyond that don't know.

if you're looking for lip the larger the offset the smaller lip so you have to compromise, honestly a 8.5 +40 is probably the limit and you'll rub there.

In the rear you can manage a 18x9 +35 if you stretch a 235/40 tire and roll your fenders.

Depends on width tire. 18X8 +42 with 245/40R18 works if not lowered too much. Plenty of room in back but front is limited on the outside. Will rub if lowered aggressively in front. YOu can run 235 tire and be fine I think. 18X8 +45 or more should be a ok with a 245 tire.

Just run narrower tires on a wide wheel. The widest tire you can fit usually does not match a more reserved size's performance.

im running 18x8 +29 (with spacers) on a 225/40/18 and im sure i can get a 235 on there with no problems in the rear. for the front, i have ran a 18x8 +33 with no problems on a 225. if u want aggressive, u probable can get the wheels poking past the fenders and still not rub as long as u run a streched tire.
