Alright guys. So i have a problem. I really like the look of the a pillar gauge pod rather than the center gauge pod that mounts on the dash.. I have side curtain airbags so it would be a little hard put the a-pillar up. is there a way i can disconnect the driver side airbag or would it be better to go with the dash pod the ATI pod(even though it is $60 more and i dont like),

The side curtain airbags deploy out of the top part of the door frame where the handle is, not the A pillar. Even though it isn't recommended, you can safely mount an Apillar gauge pod without any issues. I read a thread on here about this a while ago and then decided to do it on my own car.

I just did mine and i have the side curtain air bags. the airbags intrude about 3 or 4 inches at the top of the a-pillar. the pillar pod i got replaces the pillar cover and needed to be screwed down (this is where i had to use my imagination). I used a sliver of plywood and used 1 1/2 (roughly) sheet metal screws (self tapers) to screw down the wood to the pillar and used sheet rock screws to screw the piller pod to the wood. The reason i did all this (which isn't necessary) is to be able to keep my stock piller cover in good shap in case i want to trade the car in for a newer tc. there is a diy on here that shows how to install in the tech section.
