The iST is the Japanese version of the xD :) Over there it is sold as the Toyota iST and here it's the Scion xD.

On the ring, how easy does it look to replace the LED with another LED? Should've taken some pictures of it before you put it in :)

can you give us some details on installation? What's involved with it? I want to get one but need to make sure I can do it myself.

yup led should be easy to swap. i didn't take pics cause i usually do this my mods on a whim. lol. also if anything it's taking off the 5-6 dash parts that's the hard part. the item itself is just plug and play.

what size is it for the LED?

sorry i'm no electronic person. shoots i'm more of a broke-chanic. this is the first time i've actually did some work on a car. but i have no clue. if anyone can get the bb version or if you know about that one it looks to be the same size.
