OK, so this guy I know was talking to me about some new intake thing...

it's shaped like an egg, and sits inside your intake tube...and what it does, is acts like a NOS for your intake by spraying CO2 into the egg shaped thing and freezing the air in the intake tubing down to about -30 F...

Supposidly giving you massive HP increase...obviously, if it's true that it can do that...

has anyone heard of such a thing? or is this guy BS-ing me?

Not sure on an N/A car, but I know they work great for forced induction cars....Its the same as in intercooler sprayer...Just cools the intake charge....Not really sure of the benefit on an N/A though...

the CO2 stays inside the egg, just flowing through it...so it doesnt mix with the air inside the tubing...just inside the egging...

hmmm restricting intake and expecting greater horsepower from it? Sounds like crap. Besides the restriction, that is going to interrupt how the air flows within the intake. I bet this works as well as those $90 eBay electric "superchargers" or the Tornado Exhaust tip.
