As for me, I ran over a screw in a construction zone. I didn't notice it until I got home and heard the hissing sound of air escaping from my tire.
one night last year I left my g/fs house to go get some fast food. drive to sonic was fine, but as I was sitting there waiting for my food someone told me "hey, your tires look a bit low". So i get out of my car to see that my passenger side tires are both going flat...Since it was two tires, I had to get towed. I didn't remember seeing anything in the road or hitting anything, so when i get back to my g/f s house later that night i look around the area where i had parked my car. it turns out that a road crew had laid a "road closed" sign face down DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF MY CAR almost underneath the front bumper! i guess they were preparing for resurfacing the road the following week. the sign had four nails sticking up out of it, and when I got my flashlight out i could see where my tires had run over the sign directly onto the nails...
stupid them for laying a sign down directly in front of someones vehicle where they cant see it. stupid me for not checking for hidden crap in front of my car before pulling way from a parking spot(?). I guess I should add "check for booby traps set by evil road crews" to my pre-driving checklist....

well i live in new orleans, so pot holes pretty much eat rims.
one time i was driving to my girlfriends house and a truck was in front of me and swirved and i didnt react in time and my rear right hit it. well, it cracked my rim. bummer. well i have new ones now. note to everyone new orleans is not kind to rims, body kits, or lowered cars. lol
