uh, wasn't trd only making a turbo for the 1.5? i thought the s/c was for the tc only, and that's a little BIGGER than our engines.

i thought they making turbo, not supercharger

Yeah, that whole desription got me confused. I guess they are using a garrett turbocharger but I guess it's attached to the timing belt on the engine (similar to a supercharger). :shock: :?: Okay, i'm no tech. Someone help me here...LOL Or maybe it's like the tC setup which is centrifugal supercharger (it uses a charger shape like turbo) then a long shaft :lol: :shock: or cylinder heads over to the timing belt . The auto show version of the s/c tC doesnt look like any TRD S/C i've seen.

turbo for the 1.5L? gee, i sure haven't been here in awhile :roll: that would be nice. i hope the noise wont be that loud though unless during acceleration

TRD is making a supercharger for the tC...it's already released, and will be available when the car debuts in June.

TRD is making a Turbo for the 1.5. It was at SEMA, and I just saw it again in the new issue of SCION Magazine, which will hit showrooms soon. It's a T25R from Garrett. TRD says that it may never hit production and that it's still in development, but rumors say that it'll be out by the end of next year.
