Yeah, that whole desription got me confused. I guess they are using a garrett turbocharger but I guess it's attached to the timing belt on the engine (similar to a supercharger).

or cylinder heads over to the timing belt . The auto show version of the s/c tC doesnt look like any TRD S/C i've seen.

Oh I wish the extra 50lbs/ft is a reality even though it may have been measured at the flywheel.

TRD is making a supercharger for the tC...it's already released, and will be available when the car debuts in June.
TRD is making a Turbo for the 1.5. It was at SEMA, and I just saw it again in the new issue of SCION Magazine, which will hit showrooms soon. It's a T25R from Garrett. TRD says that it may never hit production and that it's still in development, but rumors say that it'll be out by the end of next year.
