Default My Wifey will be gettin' a tC for X-Mas!

:D I'll be gettin' her a tC for X-Mas and she doesn't even know it. She thinks that she's all sneaky and she thinks that she knows about all of the presents that I'm gettin' her, but I don't think so! :D

I've got a 2001 Honda Civic LX Coupe /w MT myself and I've hopped it up quite a lot. For some background info. on me check out: 7thgencivic.com My username is "Grey".

Anyway, I've been reading these forums for a while now and I can't wait to test drive the new tC. The specs. are so so nice compared to my Civic. Definately a better deal than the Civic EX.

I've been doing some research and I hear that the pricing varies little if any from dealer to dealer, right? I plan on paying cash (well, sort of), so I shouldn't pay more than this standard price that everyone is talking about, right?

Default Options or stock

I think price as in MSRP is all the same...

Where there is a difference is the options you want and then like finance charge if you go through TFS for financing.

dude if your holding 19k cash in your hand to drop on a car, try hagling around on a vw or a bmw, acura even. scion has a 'pure price' generated system, even if u have 'cash' to drop the price is still going to be the same.... it's all over scions website 'no haggle pricing'

Actually it's not quite cash. It's a check from my bank that's a sort of loan, but only from my bank. Not from the dealer. That way I pay for the car on the spot with "cash", but in reality it's really a loan from my bank.

It's a check so it's not cash
I did the same got the check from credit union and then went to the dealer to purchase my tC. Pure price......so it is the same everywhere.

"Oh, here's your xmas gift hon, you can have my civic. BTW I just got a tC"

Yep, I was saying "cash" 'cause my bank says to say "cash". Even if you have a "check". A check is cache 'cause it can be cashed right away and the dealer will get money for it. Cash, check, and/or money order is all "cash" in my opinion.

That's still cash to the dealer, doesn't matter to the dealer if you're financing through a bank, cash is cash.
