Mine did that couple times I just helped it along. I think its because of stuff in the track.

on days using the ac sometimes it pulls too much power from the car so the sunroof jam lock thinks somthing is wrong, just get it to the point of the wind deflector then tap the button foward till it bring the visor down then you good.

Put sill glide on the black pivot strips of the wind deflector where the sun roof hits it. They are dry and the sunroof thinks its in jam mode. make sure you clean it very well first before you apply it.

you can also try resetting the sunroof (as described in the manual). i need to do it every once in a while. it also helps stop the sunroof from whistling.

ITs not the power being pulled due to the ac being on. It is just getting bound up.

It needs to be cleaned and lubricated. Also, apply some silicone lube to the tops of the wind deflector arms so the sunroof can slide more freely on them as it pushes the deflector down.

i just reset mine: unplug the ground on your battery and place it back on after a few seconds. you'll need to reset all windows after though. that fixed mine last year. hasn't come back yet. this also fixed my whistle noise i was getting.
