Default dyno/tuning

With a few horror stories out there about what can happen at a bad tuning place; was just wondering who you think is the best local tuning place (md and Nova), best pricing and best service? I may be putting on a supercharger or turbo and my husband has a 2003 Evo that needs to be flashed and dyno'd.

around the dc beltway for an evo i'd have to say either ptuning as mentioned or turboxs in gaithersburg talk to each tuner about what your goals are and how you use the car.

for the scion goign forced induction i'd only go with ptuning. 90% of the shops out there have never done a forced induction scion, and while most of what makes a good tune is the same for any vehicle across the board every model and car line does have it's little tricks and you cant argue with ptuning's experience and track record(s) ;)

They shouldn't have any problems with rebuilding the s/c. Mine was the first one they had the opportunity to rebuild. Everything is running great and Ptuning is helping me get ready for the Time Attack in a couple weeks!

Ptuning FTW. they tuned my turbotC...when it was turbo'd and found a serious and bad exhaust leak and fixed it for free. the tune was powerful for the amount of boost i was running and power loaded in fast. i've spoken with them on many occasions and value their opinions, as they really know their stuff. especially concerning scions. the folks that work there actually OWN a few evos (or at least did) and a buddy of mine with an Evo 8 MR went there after he saw what they did with my car and they reflashed his and now it doesnt act up anymore at full boost and is stoopid fast, for the mods that it has. i vouch for them 100% only shop that would EVER touch my car.

GO THERE, if u go ANYWHERE!
