Default 07 to 08 radio harness

just curious. I'm selling my subs to a kid who has an 08 and I told him I'd wire it up for him. I need to wire in one of those signal to RCA adapters into the harness, I'm wondering if the harness has changed or not? Did the wire colors change? I know from 05 to 07 there was some kind of change, was wondering if anything changed in the 08.

the scion tc has never changed wire harness still in use with the 09's infact some of the new units/ premium factory units have rca pre outs (for subs) so if it doesnt here is the correct wire colors youll need.....
1. left rear speaker + brown - yellow
2.right rear speaker + red - white
the other wire your going to need is the grey wire on the factory harness this is the acc wire for the remote wire (amp turn on wire) good luck i recomend useing inline wire strippers and a straight pick...... you local best nuy can wire in a line output converter for 40$ the unit is 26$ if you dont have one..... good luck

Hey Josh, do you happen to know the wiring for the 08/09 stock sub? I was looking at that harness back there and was surprised to see about 8 wires heading into that amp. Know what's what?

really? New Stock headunits have the RCA out? That'd be great if they do. I had to use the Signal to RCA converter for my headunit.

No, the base units do not have RCA outs. The premium stock units do, though.

well the sub actually gets the signal from the front door speakers belive it or not, so thats four wires right thier then thiers a ground, and a amp turn on, then one goes from the deck to the sub and that leaves only one that i cant think of...

but if your hooking up an aftermarket deck and you take the remote wire or amp turn on lead from the aftermarket deck and connect that to the pink wire on the factory wire harness, not only will you have a aftermarket deck but you can retain your factory sub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
