Default Muffler Flange

I want to put a muffler that is designed for another car onto my xb but the flange is a 2 bolt style rather than the slip on oem spec. Do muffler shops carry oem style flanges or any place that sells them? I'd like to make the new axle back a bolt on affair.

To make any muffler a bolt on, they would have to flare a 2inch Diameter pipe to fit the stock mid pipe. We don't have flanges on our xBs, we have clamps. Sucks but all we have to worry about is the clamp and one bolt.

Are muffler shops typically able to do that? Flare a 2.0" pipe to fit the stock b-pipe.

I just measured the stock muffler. The front pipe is smaller than 1 3/4" so go with a 13/4" outside pipe with a flare to hook up to the stock system.
