Default 8" update

Ok, there is a update for the rear doors. I went ahead and started messing with the rear doors again. I got the depth part of it figured out. But the other issue now is that the rear door panel will not clear the 8's. The actual panel on the backside hits the 8's. So now back to the drawing board. LOL

Sounds like you used a meaty 8" woofer and added a spacer ring to clear the depth... You could use a shallow 8" woofer like the DLS Iridium 8" which should work.

or the 8 W3v3, I think im going with 6 W3v3 6.5(1 in ea, door and 2 in the hatch), custom kicks for components, and another set of components in the C-pillars (wear the storage nets go)

Damn......I really wanted to do 8's back there.......was afraid this might be the case so for a backup plan I picked out 6.5's that hopefully will suit my goals.

Looks like the DLS is 2.76" deep. So you will still need a spacer in there. Not much of one, but you will still need one. The problem is this.

The mounting area of the 8" is bigger then actual mounting area of the door. You can make it work. Like I said I am not done with it yet. I have 8's in the front doors and WILL have them in the rear doors also.
