Default Japanese Classic Car Show (still 56k in 2008???)

Well yesterday my dad and I drove down to Irvine, CA to check out the JDM/USDM Japanese cars of yesteryears in the 4th annual JCCS. For my dad it was a reminiscin' moment (having owned a few old-school Toyo-pets himself). As for me, I just tried hard not to drool on the minty fresh ones

Enjoy and sorry for the crappy pics.

We saw this even before we got in...

My dad looking ready to jump the gun and buy it.

But then something caught his eye:

Somebody actually drove it here! This is just in the parking lot.

But I got my eyes set on this one. The Beast c/o Axis welcomes us as we walk in...

I got dibs on the stereo fools!

But if I can't get that, this beauty will fit the bill:

OMG

Tonight Show host and uber-car collector gracing us with his JDM classic Honda coupe

And the dude just drove off! lol!

Here's something similar to his car:

A Clean Integra

rare SSR anyone?

A super, super minty fresh Honda Civic CRX Si

Not to worry Toyota peeps, they had some treasures to share too, like this and a few legendary racecars.

Datsuns

Some Fairlady Zs and others

From Mazda, this and a similar one off-camera are the only 2 of the first four-wheeled car Mazda produced ever imported here in the U.S. All original.

Female driftcar driver Hiromi Kajikuma and her team were there as well to sign some autographs. I believe another driver, Tanner Foust, was there as well.

Ooo, the cool guys from RiceBoy TV were there too.

And just for fun. This is from the Yokohama tent. That's freakin' ballin'!

Thanks for looking!

lol! That's how I love kyu-sha (classic/old-school) cars. I just had to share them all ...

Sigh. I'd love to have one of those old skyline GT-Rs someday. Looks old but so badass

We used to have one 1970ish corolla before (which I hated back when I was younger)..now I wish my dad didn't sell it

I'd love to have a 2nd gen Corolla. There was a kid in my automotive class during the summer with one slammed to the ground on Work Equips. Hella sexy. lol
