Default Mirror Turn Signal

Hi All,

I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I was pulling into my garage and cracked my clear turn signal on my passenger side mirror. (Stupid I know). Luckily I didn't break anything else. So I did some searching and I could not find exactly what I was looking for. I need the part number for the LENs as its called in the following post. I tried the tC service manual but I was blocked because of the 5 page view. For anyone who may not know, I need the housing with the bulb in it. I took the LENS off and I was not able to see a visible part number anywhere on it. If anyone has any idea what the part number is please help, or if you happen to have a spare you can part with let me know. Thanks.

You can't call or go to a dealship and ask what it is and get a price?

Sure, I can go to the dealership. Tell me which dealership is open on a Sunday at 6:00 PM Central time and I will gladly go there. The dealer is the obvious answer but I asked for a part number because there are some people who may have had the pleasure of buying this part. Rather than go to the dealer and find out what it costs, I'd rather know going in what it costs. But thanks for your quick reply!

Sorry i couldn't help you more. I'm not sure that they would have that part readily available or even able to get just that part. You might have to buy an entire mirror. best otpion would be to find a junker in a scrap yard. Couldn't cost more than 20 bucks.

Agreed, I'll probably checkout the junkyard tomorrow.

I just found the previous post you did a while back. Guess this is sort of a repost. My bad.

Not going to happen. tCs are downright rarities in part-yards, and when you do find one, the crooks that run the places charge insane prices. I needed just one part of a driver's sideview mirror, and ended up having to buy an entire new mirror from Sparks. Most wrecking yards want $120-135 for a sideview, and the "best" I found was a place selling a mirror with no bodyshell for $75. Completely ridiculous.

And I live within a 20 mile drive of at least 50 wrecking yards.

I called the dealer up and they im getting it for 35.00 with Tax. TRD Sparks, and McGeorge has it for 25.00 but with shipping the price is nearly the same. Oh, and the dealer will have the part for me tomorrow in the AM. So that was also a plus.
