If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college.

buy a dash kit and a wiring harness and install it. or pay someone to install it.

you'll want this:

I'm in the same boat as you stooks, thanks for the links foose801, let me know how the install goes I'm going to be installing one on me own too and was just curious if the install is pretty straight forward. What model unit will you be running?

Anyone know if there is a writeup on an average dvd in dash install ? I'm really interested in installing one myself rather than let someone else. I have an 06 and a little worried I might loose my steering wheel button controls but I hear can be corrected by module. I tried searching but can't find anything straight forward.

peep this link

it depends on the brand of stereo you have and what remote options it has, but this will get you started.

programing steering control interfaces is a bit of a chore for the beginner, so have fun with all that ;)

Sounds good , I am a complete noob when it comes to wiring, with the dash kit and wiring harness, is it pretty straight forward as far as plug and play? (module aside)
