This must be the part of that thread you are talking about:

"The rubber textured part of our e-brake handle is longer than 5" on the top, and our handle is curved a little bit.

So I guess there isn't a aftermarket ebrake handle mod? If there is can you get me a link to some?

dremel the rubber part off and your done. Honestly its probably not a worthwhile mod so save yourself the time and effort.
