Default rain+billetgrill+removed snorkel=????

hey guys, the rainy season is just around the corner, and i took off my snorkel this past summer. i have a billet grill so the rain can go right through the front now and i was wondering if there is any danger of my car hydrolocking from the snorkel being removed and having a billet grill....any info would be nice

Prolly not, but why buy a grill that doesn't have the plate behind it to keep trash out of your engine compartment?
You would be wise to put the stock grill back in till after the rainy season.

No cause not enough water can get in the airbox hole fast enough to defy gravity and get into the filter. It might not be good to get your filter wet tho (might cause flow restiction). You should do what others have done and add some dryer duct to the box to draw air from behind the drivers side foglight area. That is what I did before I got the shortram intake.
